Reddish Cat's Eye Sillimanite

A 3.6 ct reddish black cat's eye sillimanite. It has not been laboratory tested, so whether it was heated is unknown — most stones in the trade change hands without ever being checked. Cut as a dome to show the eye — a single bright line across the surface that opens and closes as the stone is turned.
